Longevity and Custom Gear Care Instructions

Our sublimated apparel is designed to last for years, offering exceptional durability and longevity. This longevity translates into cost savings for our customers, as they won't need to replace their apparel frequently. Instead, they can place fill-in orders as new players join or as existing players grow. When properly cared for, the colors of our sublimated garments will not fade, crack, or peel, ensuring they look vibrant and fresh throughout their lifespan.

Recommended Washing and Storing Procedures

Initial Use and Regular Washing

  1. Initial Washing: Wash garments separately before their first use.
  2. Immediate Laundering: For best results and maximum wear, launder uniforms immediately after each game.
  3. Handling Perspiration: If garments cannot be cleaned promptly, hang them individually on rust-proof hangers or hooks to prevent perspiration fading, which can occur if wet garments are left in a pile.

Washing Instructions

  1. Separation of Colors: Do not wash white and colored garments together.
  2. Water Temperature: Use cold water for washing all garments.
  3. Water Level: Maintain a high water level in the washing machine to reduce mechanical action. Only lower the water level for extremely soiled uniforms to increase cleaning action.
  4. Avoid Overloading: Do not overload the washing machine, as this can cause shrinkage and impede the cleaning process.
  5. Antistatic Agents: Use an antistatic agent, particularly for garments that will be tumble dried, to minimize lint attraction and spark discharge.
  6. Bleach Warning: Never use chlorine bleach on any garments, as it can fade colors and weaken materials.

Drying Instructions

  1. Hang-Drying: For best results, hang garments to drip-dry.
  2. Tumble Drying: If using a dryer, set it to the lowest temperature or "air" setting.
  3. Prompt Removal: Remove garments promptly from the dryer to avoid wrinkles.
  4. Drying Uniforms: Ensure garments are completely dry before storing to prevent mildew and yellowing.

Storage Recommendations

  1. Storage Conditions: Store uniforms in a cool, dry area protected from sunlight and fluorescent light.
  2. Preventing Damage: Proper storage helps prevent mildew, yellowing, and other forms of damage.

These guidelines are specifically for The Bullpen's custom uniforms and gear, ensuring your sublimated apparel remains in excellent condition and provides lasting value.
